Hand Off the Mental Load: Use AI to Turn a Brain Dump into a List

There's a running list in your head that never switches off. Talk, and let AI turn it into an organised list on your phone. Made for mums, for the days when both hands are full. In about 20 minutes you'll build two voice shortcuts: one sorts a spoken brain dump into checklists your partner can tick off, the other logs your baby's feed, nappy or nap as a timestamped line. It all uses tools already on your iPhone, with nothing new to subscribe to.

    What Our Learners Say

Real stories from women who are building with confidence.

"The bite-sized breakdowns of core concepts were really helpful, they made the course very digestible and easy to understand. Also loved the quizzes for reinforcing concepts. Fantastic course - may be the best I’ve seen so far!"

    SK

    Sesha Kadakia

    Founder & CEO • Tangify

"The format is super concrete, highly actionable, and refreshingly simple, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve already started building an app to help my clients measure their Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS), and I’m really happy with the first results so far."

    JT

    Jane Tonal

    Founder • Humadvise

"The content and exercises really helped me improve my understanding bit by bit. I think as product managers, we often use ChatGPT to write posts or draft content, but we rarely take the time to realise that giving it proper context and more information makes everything much more productive."

    FAQ

    What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is a new way of building software where you describe what you want in natural language (such as English), and AI creates it for you. Instead of learning programming languages, you simply explain your idea of what you're trying to build and an AI tool like Lovable turns it into a working app.

It removes one of the biggest barriers to building software: years of technical training. If you can clearly describe what you want, you can build it. That's why we believe vibe coding is opening doors for people who've had brilliant product ideas but lacked the traditional coding skills to bring them to life.

    What is Little Parrot?

Little Parrot offers micro-courses that help people build with AI and vibe coding. Our focus is on closing the gender gap in AI technology adoption by helping women and underrepresented groups gain the skills to create value and opportunity through software.

    Who is Little Parrot for?

Anyone who wants to learn how to build and create with AI. We especially support women and underrepresented builders who are new to tech or returning after a break.

Why focus on women and underrepresented learners?

Technology shapes the world we live in. But the people who build it still don't represent the diversity of those who use it.

Women make up nearly half of the global workforce, yet remain significantly underrepresented in technical roles and product creation. Even with new tools like AI and vibe coding lowering technical barriers, participation still lags – for example, only around 20% of Lovable's users are women. This gap isn't due to a lack of talent or curiosity. It's the result of systemic barriers.

Little Parrot exists to change this. We believe that equity starts with access – to skills, to tools, and to confidence. By creating microlearning experiences built around how adults learn best – in short, practical challenges, and in a psychologically safe environment – we help more women and underrepresented learners gain the skills to build, lead, and shape technology. Because when more kinds of people build technology, we get a better world, one designed for everyone.

    How long are the courses?

Each micro-course has under 60 minutes of content. You can finish it quickly, often in less than a week, then keep practising the new skills in your daily work using the techniques you gained from Little Parrot.

    Do I get a certificate?

Yes. When you complete a course, you'll receive a certificate of completion that you can add to your LinkedIn profile and share with your network.

You can also access your certificate later by clicking on the course you’ve completed. From the course overview page, you’ll be able to download it.

    How much does it cost?

The first challenge in each course is free. Then, you can choose the option that fits your season. We offer a monthly subscription and a lifetime access – check our Pricing page to see what's included.

Most members start with Monthly. If you know you're serious about building digital products long-term, Lifetime is the best value.

Either way, your AI era starts here.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel your monthly subscription, you keep full access to everything – courses, toolkit, and the pro-questions channel in the community – until the end of your current billing period. Nothing changes until then, so you can continue learning.

    Do you offer scholarships?

Yes. Through our Open Wings Scholarship, every paying learner sponsors free access for someone facing financial or structural barriers to learning. No proof required, just share your context.

    What's the science behind microlearning?

The science behind microlearning is rooted in cognitive psychology and neuroscience, emphasising how the brain best absorbs and retains information. Microlearning works by breaking content into small, focused segments that mirror how people naturally learn best – incrementally and through repetition – allowing for manageable cognitive load and preventing overwhelm.

This approach leverages principles like spaced repetition, which enhances long-term retention, and retrieval practice, where learners actively recall information, both of which counteract the natural forgetting curve. Microlearning also stimulates the brain's reward system; achieving small learning goals triggers dopamine release, increasing motivation and engagement.

These bite-sized lessons are efficient, adaptable to busy schedules, and support real-time feedback, making learning more effective and aligned with the way our brains create and strengthen memory pathways through repeated, spaced exposure.

What cognitive science guides the Little Parrot course design?

The course design strategies of spaced practice, retrieval exercises, and learning in context are guided by robust findings from cognitive science.

Spaced practice leverages the "spacing effect," where information is reviewed or practiced across multiple sessions spaced out over time; this strengthens long-term memory by inducing reconsolidation and re-encoding, which makes memory traces more durable and resistant to forgetting.

Retrieval exercises (like recalling answers or self-testing) take advantage of the "retrieval effect" or "testing effect," where actively recalling information strengthens neural connections and improves recall better than re-studying, especially when retrieval happens after a delay.

Integrating learning in context – by practicing or retrieving knowledge across varying situations or with changing cues – produces richer and more flexible mental representations, ensuring knowledge can be applied in new scenarios and enhances accessibility by associating information with multiple contextual cues.

Collectively, these cognitive science principles enable efficient, transferable, and lasting learning: retrieval stabilises and enriches memory, spacing maximises retention, and context variability makes knowledge practical and robust.
