Self-paced course

Build an App with Lovable That People Pay For

In our research with women building with AI, we kept seeing the same problem: “I can’t judge what the AI is doing.”

Finish with a live app on your own domain, one you can fix and change yourself without burning Lovable credits, and your first paying customers. Over seven missions you plan your app, build it, launch it and look for people who’ll pay for it, working on your own idea the whole way through.

What you’ll be able to do

Break your idea into buildable pieces and know what to build first
Know what the frontend, backend and database do, so you can judge what Lovable is doing
Fix bugs without the fix-break loop, and make small changes yourself without spending credits
Launch an app that’s ready for real customers, and find the first ones who pay

    The course

There are seven missions, in the order you’ll need them, and each one carries on with the app you worked on in the mission before. Already built a first version? Skip the first two missions and start where you’re stuck.

    1. Mission 1Free

      Plan your idea

Plan Your Vibe Coded App: Define the Problem, User, MVP and First Prompt · 7 challenges · ~3h

You’ll write down the problem your app solves, describe the person you’re building it for and check that the problem is worth solving. Then you’ll map what people will do in your app, cut it down to a first version you can build in one sitting and turn your plan into your first prompt. You’ll finish with a plan you can hand to Lovable, and a plan for showing your app to your first real user and deciding what to change next.

    2. Mission 2

      Build it

Build Your First App With Lovable · 7 challenges · 55 min

You’ll give Lovable your prompt and build the first version, then improve it one focused prompt at a time. You’ll save data with Lovable Cloud, add Google login, connect your app to other services, like one that sends emails, and bookmark working versions, so a mistake is easy to undo. You’ll finish with your app published on a link you can share.

    3. Mission 3

Learn what each part of your app does

Basics of Software for Vibe Coding · 5 challenges · 47 min

You’ll learn what the frontend, backend and database each do, and the design words for describing how your app should look. So you’ll write more precise prompts, and when something needs changing, you’ll know exactly what to ask Lovable to change.

    4. Mission 4

Change it yourself, without spending credits

Save Lovable Credits: Edit Your App Like a Developer · 7 challenges · ~1h

You’ll connect your app to GitHub, set up VS Code on your computer and run your app there. You’ll make small changes yourself, like new wording or a different icon, hand bigger ones to GitHub Copilot, an AI agent with a free tier, and publish them to your live app. None of it spends Lovable credits.

      View course
    5. Mission 5

      Fix what breaks

Fix Bugs with Confidence: Debugging Your Lovable App · 7 challenges · ~1h

You’ll pick up habits that cut down how often bugs appear. Then you’ll investigate the bugs you still get the way developers do: reproduce the bug, read the browser console, and find the cause before you ask for a fix. You’ll also learn techniques to get out of fix-break bug loops.

      View course
    6. Mission 6

      Launch it

How to Publish a Lovable App: Custom Domain, Legal Pages, SEO and Analytics · 6 challenges · 59 min

You’ll switch your app to real API keys, connect your own domain and add a privacy policy and terms of service, so people know how you’ll handle their data before they sign up. You’ll set up SEO so Google and AI search tools can find your app, and analytics so you can see how people use it. You’ll finish with a launch checklist you can reuse for anything you build next.

    7. Mission 7

      Find your first customers

Build a Business with Your Vibe Coded App: Validate Your Offer, Set a Price and Find Customers · 8 challenges · ~1h

You’ll describe what your app does for people in one sentence and test it on potential customers. You’ll set up email sign-ups, bring in your first visitors through directories and community posts, and ask your first users for feedback. Then you’ll choose a price, work out how many customers you need to cover your costs and set up payments.

    How the course works

Missions in the order you’ll need them

Designed as one sequence from our years of building products and teaching, so you never have to work out what to learn next.

    Short, hands-on challenges

Every mission is made of short, self-paced challenges, most of them 10 to 15 minutes. You’ll need a laptop, because you build as you go.

Your own app, all the way through

You apply every mission to your own idea, so you finish with your app, not a copy of an example. Already built a first version? Skip a mission or a challenge and the course carries on from the next one.

    Who teaches it

We write every mission and toolkit item ourselves, and we run the community and the office hours.

It was really inspiring and you are warm and generous tutors.

    Is this course for you?

    Yes, if

    • You have an idea for an app, or a first version you’ve started in Lovable.
    • You don’t have a technical background, and you want to build your app yourself with AI.
    • Your app works in Lovable’s preview, but you can’t tell whether it’s ready for customers, their data or their payments.
    • You want to find out whether people will pay for it.

    Not really, if

    • You want to publish an app in the App Store or Google Play. This course covers web apps that open in a web browser, on a phone or a computer.
    • You want to train as a software engineer. You’ll change small parts of your app’s code, but you won’t learn a programming language.
    • You need someone to certify that your app is secure or compliant. A course can’t replace a professional review of your app.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is Lovable?

Lovable is an AI app builder. You describe the app you want in a chat, and it builds it, including all parts of it. It also publishes your app, so other people can use it. Lovable has a free plan to start with. Use our referral link to get 10 extra credits when you sign up to Lovable.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You build your app by describing it to Lovable. In the Save Lovable Credits mission, you’ll open your app’s code to change some wording or swap an icon, and the mission shows you each step. You’ll hand bigger changes to an AI agent. You won’t learn a programming language, but you’ll build a deeper technical understanding.

I’ve already built an app. Is this still for me?

Yes. Skip the first two missions and start with the one where you’re stuck: the basics of software if you can’t tell what Lovable changed, Save Lovable Credits if your credits run out, Fix Bugs if each fix breaks something else, or Launch if your app is still only in Lovable’s preview.

How do I know if my app idea is worth building?

That’s the first thing the course helps you check. In the planning mission, you’ll identify the problem your app solves and who has it, and judge whether it’s worth solving before you build anything. In the last mission, you’ll test a one-sentence description of your app on potential customers and see how they respond.

    Is vibe coding bad?

It depends on how you do it. A lot of the criticism is about apps that go live without anyone testing them or checking their security. In this course, you’ll test after each change, investigate a bug before you ask for a fix, understand Lovable’s security warnings and keep working versions you can go back to.

Can I use a different AI app builder?

The course uses Lovable throughout, so the steps are written for Lovable. The planning, software basics and business missions work with any tool. The Save Lovable Credits mission also works with Replit, v0 and Bolt, because they all connect to GitHub. The mindset and techniques we teach are transferable.

    Will my app be secure?

No course can promise that for every app, because the data you collect and the services you connect change the risks. You’ll learn what Lovable’s security warnings mean and how to fix them. Whether a warning needs action straight away depends on whether your app handles sensitive data, and you’ll learn how to decide.

    How long does it take?

About ten hours across the seven missions, in challenges of 10 to 15 minutes. The planning challenges take longer, 15 to 50 minutes, because you apply the techniques to your own product idea, to make sure you’re building something people would pay for.

    How much does it cost?

€299, paid once, with lifetime access to all seven missions and their toolkit items, plus our private community and monthly office hours for 6 months. The first mission is free, so you can try it before you pay, and you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason.

Start with the problem your app solves

The first mission is free. You’ll identify the problem your app solves and who has it, and finish with the first prompt to build it.
